About me
Hi, I’m Kari Iverson
Twenty years ago, I was working in San Francisco tech, living with chronic pain, taking 25+ ibuprofen a day (yes, really), and wondering if this was simply ... adulthood ?!?
I tried everything I could find: chiropractic care, acupuncture, pilates-style workouts, supplements, infrared therapy—you name it. Some things helped, but massage was the first treatment that consistently made a real difference. I became fascinated. Why did it work? What was happening in the body that I was heretofore blind to?
That healthy curiosity eventually led me to the San Francisco School of Bodywork, where I graduated in 2017. Since then, I've continued studying, refining my craft, and developing my own techniques—especially for chronic jaw tension, a quiet epidemic.
Today, I'm living free from the chronic pain that once shaped my daily life, and I never take that for granted.
My practice specializes in relieving jaw tension, addressing persistent discomfort with thoughtful deep tissue work, helping people whose bodies bear the effects of long hours at a desk, and supporting active bodies that want to keep moving for years to come. Because no one should have to give up the activities they love.
The people I connect with most are gentle souls and artists who have spent years showing up for everyone else—building careers, raising families, caring for others, creating beautiful lives—and are finally ready to receive some quality care themselves.
My goal is to offer support that meets you exactly where you are; honoring both the body, and the soul living inside.
